Scope of the Journal: The《Air Force Engineering University Journal》makes it publishable to be qualified for pioneering papers, innovative and practical technical reports, and reviews of significant academic issues in the fields of military aviation, electronic information and communication navigation, weaponry engineering, aerospace defense, military intelligence, battle damage rush repairs, network electron countermeasures, drone attacks, military airfield protection, and related foundational fields.
1. Originality and Quality: Contributed articles must be original, scholarly, scientific nature, accurate, standardized, and reliable.
2. Length and Figures: Articles should be concise. Figures must be clear, and sub-figures should have corresponding labels.
3. Author Information: Author information in brief must be attached to the contributed articles, including full name, birth year, gender, place of origin, professional title (degree), email address, contact number, and primary research fields.
4. Funding Information: Clearly state any funding sources. Submissions marked with military research projects are not allowed.
5. Abstract: Provide an informative abstract that outlines the research objective, methods, results, and conclusions. The abstract should be independent, self-explanatory, and written in the third person. The Chinese abstract should be approximately 300 characters, while the English abstract should align with the Chinese version and consist of 150-180 words.
Submissions must be submitted via the《Air Force Engineering University Journal》review website: http://kjgcdx.ijournal.cn/ch/index.aspx. Paper submissions or email submissions are not accepted.
Pre-Submission:
1. Review Guidelines: Review the “Notices to Submission” and “Author’s Corner” sections on the journal’s website thoroughly to be familiarized with requirements for submission, submission process , and going-over a manuscript process.
Hint: Manuscripts not conforming to the journal’s political, confidentiality, content, and writing standards will be rejected.
2. Preparedness: Prepare the text of manuscript (preferably in DOC format), scanned confidentiality review certificate (template available in “ Author’s Corner” section), signed copyright agreement, and information on recommended reviewers (including name, professional title, affiliation, research field, contact number, and email address).
Hint: Manuscripts must be reviewed by the confidentiality committee of the author’s institution and stamped with the official seal. All authors must sign the copyright agreement. Upon acceptance, authors must submit the original confidentiality review certificate and the original copyright agreement to the editorial department either in person or by mail for publication, otherwise publication is not granted to take into consideration.
Submission Process:
1. Online Submission: Click on “Author Submission Inquiry” to contribute your manuscript.
2. For the First-time Users: Register in the “Author Submission Inquiry”, complete the author information, activate your account via the confirmation email, and log on to formally contribute.
3. For the Registered Users: Log in by your username and password, and follow the online submission instructions:
(1)Read the Notice to Submission.
(2)Download and read the Copyright Agreement, and go to the next if you are in agreement with the Copyright Agreement.
(3)Upload the full text of manuscript and the confidentiality review certificate.
(4)Extraction Manuscript Information from the system: The system will automatically extract manuscript details such as title, keywords, abstract, authors, and references from DOC files. The other formats may require making manually an entry into the system.
Hint: Each manuscript must have a corresponding author and a submitting author. It is recommended that the submitting author and corresponding author use the same email. If different, explain in the submission remarks. The corresponding author’s email being registered and activated, the submissions are able to inquire.
(5) Fill the recommended reviewer and avoid the reviewer information.
(6) “Manuscript Information”, “Author Information”, “Reviewer Information” and “References” being confirmed, submit to complete the process if correct.
4. Authors may log into the journal’s website at any time to inquire about the manuscript status and handle the revised with the manuscript status being real-time renewable, and contact the assigned editor via email in question. The Editor contact details are available under “Contact Us” on the website.
5. Manuscript having been admitted, submit immediately the original confidentiality review certificate and copyright agreement as directed by the editor. Contact the editor for the detailed submission instructions.
