The position of systems studies in the scientific history is discussed. Our paper concludes with a description about the future of the systems science and a list of some open problems.

Abstract:A simulation model for commonly used mobile aircraft arresting system is established theoretically in this paper. Simu1ation results with three kinds of different parameters of control mechanism show that the model can simulate the true process of aircraft being arrested and be an effective mathematical too1 for design and ana1ysis of the system. This model is run by using SIMULINK software under MATLAB environment.

Abstract:The limitation of a general firewall is analyzed , and some solutions of enhancing the security of networking systems are presented in this paper. Abstract:Robust H" controller via state feedback as well as via output feedback for a class of nonlinear systems with uncertainty is discussed by means of two player, zero- sum , differential game. The sufficient conditions of the solution existence for the H" control problems of such case of uncertain nonlinear systems are presented. It is proved that all the controllers proposed in this paper can make the closed loop systems with uncertainty achieve disturbance attenuation with intemal stability.

Abstract:In this paper , the method , which is called Computer Aided Perturbation (CAP) , is used for the optimization design of the multi - stage microwave amplifier circuits. The justified topology structures and required parameters of the circuits are designed automatically by this method , with the aid of the high - speed calculation and logical judgement of the computer. A two - stage microwave amplifier in the band of 2.5GHz - 4.5GHz is designed by use of the compiled design program , and the results are simulated in the microwave circuits CAD software Microwave - Scope , which proves the reliability and utility of the method.

Abstract:In this paper , by means of the impulsive control , a synchronization method for Rossller chaotic system is contructed and applied to secure transmission of speech and images. The simulation shows that the method has better performance of robustness and anti - noise than traditional methods in chaotic masking schemes. This method permits a signal with larger amplitude which is more than a match for driver - response , APD and coupled synchronization methods.

Abstract:Clinical diagnosis is often supported by the accurate registration and fusion of CT and MRI images. In this paper , a distance transformation (DT) is applied to the verge of the natural brain tissue in the CT image, firsuy.Then the registration is accomplished by using the verges of the natural brain tissue in MRI - T1 and MRI - T2 images as polygons. As a result , the fusion of the complementary information in the CT and MRI is achieved. The algorithm used in this paper is applicable to the registration of CT and MRI images. At the same time , it can be a reference for the matching of other medical images such as SPECT ,PET and DSA.
