To counter the relativity, incomparability and grayness of radar system performance targets, by applying the theory of gray relational grade ( GRG ) system, a model based on the GRG-AHP is proposed to evaluate the effectiveness of radar system. Through analyzing the comparison of four types of alert radar with this evaluation model, the result shows that this model method is more effective than the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method.
