According to the actual need of maintenance of equipment and the development of Internet and Intranet technology .an equipment's elements information system for maintenance is developed based on browser/server model using the Active Server Pages technique , which is a new type dynamic webtechnique. The emphases are laid on discussing the logical designing of the system database and the operating principle , running environment and programming characteristics of the Active Server Pages technique.
