Because of the multiformity of evaluating objects of inviting bidding, it is impossible to find a generally applicable evaluating method. In this paper, the results of the research on applicability of several main evaluation methods of inviting bidding, including multi-attribute analysis，fuzzy synthesis evaluating method， grey relation analysis, and principal component analysis, are given in terms of feature of the indices and subjective influences.
